Technique balayazh appeared in the 70s of the last century in Paris. This coloring is a special color in two colors with a smooth border between shades. Translated from the French, the name of the technique means “revenge” - in fact, the applied paint is simply swept to the ends of the hair, as a result, the transition between natural and colored curls becomes almost imperceptible and creates the feeling that the haircut is simply burned out in the hot summer sun. Usually, the hair is lightened by no more than 3 tones, because the effect gets the most natural and natural.

One of the main advantages of technology is that the hair, growing back, does not lose its aesthetic appearance for quite a long time. - as the border between native and dyed strands grows, it doesn’t catch the eye for quite a long time, which means that it is necessary to resort to adjusting the coloring no more than once every three months. This makes staining gentle and safe for curls.

Balayazh often confused with ombre. Visually, they are a bit similar, but from a technical point of view there are quite a few differences between them. Ombre is a gradual coloring when it creates the effect of gradually dissolving a dark shade in a lighter color, while the color of the roots is significantly different from the color of the tips. When balayazhego affected only a few strands, and the difference between the darkest and the lightest shades is minimal.

The means used by colorists are also different. Ombre is most often made with a bleaching powder, which allows you to brighten the strands as much as possible, while balace on blond hair does not require prior etching, which results in minimal damage to hair. Coloring the strands of medium length allows you to make the haircut more voluminous and original, in addition, the coloring visually corrects the shape of the face, making it more fit. The technology here is a bit different.

First you should carefully comb the strands. The needle or sharp tip of the brush with a divider curls are divided into 4-5 identical zones. Each of them should be tied up with a rubber band and form a bun, otherwise they will interfere with coloring.

After the preparatory part is finished, it is necessary to dilute the paint and prepare the brushes.

A section of hair near the neck is dismissed and one strand of hair is separated from it, smeared with paint strictly on one side. Coloring is done by smearing movements, starting from the bottom and gradually moving to the middle. There is no need to be too careful - the brush strokes must be rather careless, like the movements of a painter, otherwise you will not achieve a natural effect. Well, do not forget that between the roots of the hair and the colored part should be about 3-4 cm.

After that, the paint is applied on the opposite side, so that the letter “V” is obtained, the peaks of which end at different levels. The procedure is repeated, separating all new strands of curls until all areas of the hair are processed.

After 10-15 minutes, the paint is combed down with a comb with rare teeth, the composition is held for another 20-25 minutes and rinsed with running water with shampoo.

Keep in mind that with this coloring do not use foil and a warming cap - such means emphasize the border of the hair, and this is not at all what you need for a stylish balacer.

Balayazh looks very impressive on long strands, it gives them volume and lightness, makes the curls more airy, radiant and textured.

In itself, the coloring is the same as on the curls of medium length, but in this case, the young lady is unlikely to be able to do without someone's help.

By the way, owners of long curls sometimes allow themselves a certain deviation from the existing techniques - for example, they use a color scheme, using not only light shades on their tips, but also salmon, pink, and blue or even purple.

Owners of blond curls, who decided to make their own balayaz at home, should take note of several recommendations.

• Before dyeing, hair should not be washed or moistened - the head should be dry and dirty, because in this case, sebum creates a protective film on the surface of hairs, which significantly reduces the damage from the use of aggressive chemical compounds.
• If you often use styling products, then you should wash your head a couple of days before coloring and no longer use foam or mousse. If you leave them on the head, then the paint simply will not take.
• If you have some paint left, dilute it with water and distribute it over the entire length of the curls 2-3 minutes before the end of the procedure - this will make the result of coloring more natural.
• Do not try to systematize and organize the selection of strands - coloring is done exclusively "by eye".
• If your hair has previously suffered from previous staining or unsuccessful curling - it is better to first treat it, cut off all damaged strands and only then resort to balayazhu, otherwise the quality of the hair will only deteriorate.
• When working, do not use tools made of metal - they react with oxidizing agents, as a result, the most unpredictable colors are possible. This is especially noticeable on blond and light brown hair, which can turn dirty green.
• You do not need to use too strong oxidizing agents - 30% of solutions are enough for a light head to hold the head, otherwise the effect may turn out to be dirty, and the hair after all the manipulations will look like straw.

But in order for the toning to please you with its shades for as long as possible, you need to properly care for your hair after the procedure.

1. Pay attention to the restoration of damaged hair. You should regularly use masks, balsams, oils and serums for dyed hair.
