If the product has hardened, several effective methods will help restore it to its original softness.

1. Put the rubber chain in a container with gasoline or kerosene, cover with a lid. When the product becomes elastic - rinse with warm water and wipe dry with a towel;
2. Soften the lace with a hair dryer at a temperature not higher than 85 degrees.The whole procedure should last no more than 3-5 minutes with interruptions so that the rubber does not melt;
3. A similar procedure can be done using a steam generator;
4. The easiest way to soften a rubber chain is over steam (using forceps), periodically changing position, to achieve uniform heating.
