Resistant drawing at home can be applied by cold or hot batik, felt-tip pens on fabric, aerosol cans, using decal, but acrylic is the most reliable and popular. There are several ways to apply prints with acrylic paints:

• Copying a picture from paper. This method does not require special artistic talents, only accuracy. Drawing can be executed by hand or printed out on the printer. All outlines should be of a dark color that can be seen through the fabric of the T-shirt. For convenience, it is better to glue the finished drawing on a thick cardboard, evenly pull a T-shirt on it and fix it on the edges with pins. Next, you need to carefully outline the outlines with a simple pencil or felt-tip pens on the fabric, and proceed to fill with color;

• Freehand drawing on fabric. This is a technique for those who are confident in their abilities, which gives more room for imagination. You can pre-draw the outlines, and you can immediately start working with colors, creating a piece of art on your T-shirt. The method is more suitable for light materials, and those cases where some negligence in the drawing is permissible;

• Stencilled application. The easiest way to guarantee a good result. Drawing on the stencil is convenient because the image can be repeatedly copied on T-shirts, for example, for the whole family, the KVN school team, uniforms for competitions or just a group of like-minded people who want to be recognizable in the crowd. To make the picture look more interesting, you can put stencils of different sizes on each other, change the angle of inclination and color scheme;

• Screen printing. Designed for complex drawings of several colors. It is applied with the help of special ink and mesh for screen printing, roller and other tools. This method is not suitable for beginners.

Of all these methods, the most common stencil painting. It is simple in execution, economical in time and satisfactory in result.

To complete the painting you will need: a cotton T-shirt, a stencil or cardboard for it, acrylic paints, a dyeing roller of a small size, a paint tray, gloves, scissors or a stationery knife, masking tape, an iron.

The procedure is carried out step by step:

• Washing. Many people want to skip this item, but you need to do it. Acrylic paints best fall on cotton things, and cotton tends to "sit down" when washed. The drawing does not decrease with the size of the T-shirt, it is deformed, and the works will be spoiled together with the T-shirt and the gift of translated materials.

After washing, the T-shirt should be well dried and ironed with an iron so that the basis for the pattern is as flat as possible;

• Stencil Procurement. While the T-shirt dries, there is time to put a pattern on a thin cardboard. Cutting the contours must be done very carefully, without chipping, otherwise the edge of the pattern on the fabric will be uneven. For the first attempt, you can buy a stencil in the store or stick a printout from the Internet onto the cardboard;

• Work surface preparation. For drawing a picture you can use a flat solid surface, for example, a writing table or a coffee table. All necessary tools are placed nearby, from the working hand. Acrylic is hard to wash off, so it is better to cover the table with old newspapers, and to start the creative process in old clothes;

• T-shirt preparation. Clean, ironed thing should be placed on the work surface, straightened so that there are no folds and irregularities. Inside it is recommended to put a thick layer of paper or cardboard so that the acrylic does not print on both sides of the T-shirt, if this does not imply an idea. Next, a stencil is applied to the T-shirt. To keep it in place during painting, the edges need to be glued with paper tape;

• Dilution of paints. To prevent the acrylic from starting to dry out ahead of time, pour the desired color into the tray or mix it from several different ones immediately before application. To lay the paint evenly, the roller must be uniformly impregnated with acrylic. To do this, it dipped several times in the tray until it is a little bit heavy, and then make a test stroke on a sheet of paper. If the layer is dense, you can start painting;

• Drawing drawing. “Roll up” the stencil with horizontal and vertical movements. You can go beyond the edges of the picture, but not the edges of the paper; It is good to apply a second coat of paint. When it dries a little, you can remove the stencil and leave the drawing until it is completely dry;

• Heat exposure. The paint is better fixed, if you iron a fresh print with a hot iron through a thin cotton towel. After that, the shirt can be worn and washed. The first few times it is recommended to do it in cold water on your hands, and the next - in a typewriter with the rest of things.

A boring old T-shirt can be animated with an unusual cosmic print. Drawing stencils of planets is not needed for this, all you need is a T-shirt, acrylic, gloves, bleach in a bottle with a spray bottle and several brushes.

If the T-shirt is new, it must first be washed and dried. The old must be clean and ironed. Abstraction is best applied to the fabric of bright or dark colors, on white and light it will not look so impressive.

The process of drawing begins with the preparation of the working surface, in this case - the floor. It is worth to be located away from the walls, so as not to splash them with paint, and carefully cover the area of ​​creativity with newspapers. Then you can proceed to the working materials.

First of all, you need to dilute a small amount of bleach with water in a spray bottle, prepare brushes and paint bottles of preferred colors.

From a distance of an outstretched hand, apply a bleaching solution on the T-shirt, wait until it changes color and dries. Then, opening the paint, alternately dipping the brush in different colors, sprinkle a T-shirt with them. Very fine details are more convenient to work with a toothbrush, spraying a thin layer of paint directly above the cloth.

If desired, you can repeat the procedure with the second side of the product after the print on the front side is completely dry.

Nodular technique is essentially a type of batik. The main difference from traditional fabric painting is that as a reserve (a substance that separates one color fragment from another, preventing the colors from mixing), it is not a special adhesive solution that is used, but strings, strings and strands.

With the help of threads on the fabric are fixed nodules of different sizes, which fall into the paint.As a result, the paint fills only that fragment, which is separated by threads, and diverges with beautiful “rays” along the creases on the fabric.

Make the knots easy enough. There are no patterns and special rules, the fabric can be folded and tied up at its discretion. The main thing is to determine how large or small the colored fragments will be, and carefully separate one from another with the help of threads or a string.

It is better to take white threads so that they do not shed during dyeing. Of course, this can give an additional element of decor, but it can spoil the whole idea.

In addition to the thread, often use buttons and pebbles, which fill one or another piece of fabric to paint lay down more interesting.

Nodular staining is performed in stages.

The first stage is the choice of fabric and its preliminary preparation. Batik is applied to cotton, silk or wool products; color is preferred white. Depending on the idea, before tying the knots, you can put splashes, stripes, spots or patterns on the T-shirt.

The second stage is the most important. It depends on how you get a picture. After twisting the fabric in a certain way and tying knots, you can get circles, flowers, stripes, and you can make them arbitrarily, and then the pattern will be unpredictable and unique.

The third stage involves the choice of method of staining. The most reliable is to alternately lower the nodules in a container with boiling colored water. This method ensures the penetration of paint into all layers of fabric and gives the effect of overflowing one color into another.

The fastest is the use of spray paint. For a lasting effect, it is enough just to spray it onto the fabric texture for a few seconds, but there is a risk that the knot will not be completely painted.

The longest and most expensive material, but the most beautiful as a result is the use of pure paint. If you want smooth and soft transitions, the bundle must be moistened before dipping it into the paint. If the priority is bright, rich ornament, T-shirt fabric can be left dry. So, to paint a T-shirt with clean paint, first of all decide on the colors of your future T-shirt, put them in molds and dilute with a small amount of warm water.

Then proceed directly to the coloring of the shirt. We take a syringe, we collect a solution into it and start squeezing the solution onto a T-shirt.

When the product has dried, you need to iron it with an iron through a thin fabric without a pattern, so the paint will fix better and last longer.

The fifth stage is the final. It is not necessary, but nevertheless, you should not miss it. Nodular technique requires the use of a large amount of paint, which can begin to wash out during the first wash. To avoid this, one day after fixing the paint, the T-shirt should be moistened and rinsed in running water, washing out excess amount of acrylic. After that, the product is ready to wear and wash along with other things.

Drawing a picture on things with your own hands is a laborious process, but not complicated. The classic version on a white T-shirt is as follows: drawing a pattern according to a pattern, shaping the outline, filling with color, fixing paint with an iron.

First you need to choose the shirt itself. Under the acrylic paint is most suitable simple cotton thing monophonic color.

When the picture is fully translated, it's time to start painting the outline.. It is recommended to use ready-made contours for fabric, applicators or just the thinnest brush. In order not to smear the paint, you should move from top to bottom along the main pattern.

When the main circuit is dry, the details are worked out.

It is necessary to fill the drawing with paint without haste, carefully soaking the fabric with acrylics. It is best to start with light colors, and then shade them darker. Each color requires a little dry before the next one is applied.

When the drawing is completely painted, it is recommended to re-work the contours. It is hard not to stain it with paint during work, so it may look sloppy and spoil the overall impression. After the secondary study of the contour, the picture is finished.

It remains to wait for the complete drying of the paint (from 24 to 48 hours) and fix it with an iron. The temperature regime should match the type of fabric, without the use of steam. So that the paint does not stick to the sole of the iron, iron the T-shirt through a cotton napkin or turn it on the wrong side.

The product is ready. It perfectly carries repeated washing on hands and in the washing machine, does not fade and does not stain other things.
