Chernomorskoe in Crimea: weather and rest
On the Black Sea coast of Russia there are many resort places, designed for both active and relaxing holiday. One of those is the village of Chernomorskoe, located on the Crimean peninsula.
Description
On the west coast of Crimea, the Tarkhankutsky peninsula is located in the sea, where the village is located. Black Sea. While this is not the most popular place among tourists, as not everyone is still acquainted with its unique nature and beaches. The sea in the village is not very deep and with a gentle relief. It warms up well in spring, and tourists open the swimming season in April. The beach here is sandy-shell, it is pleasant to wander around barefoot or lie on the beach mat, and there are more sunny days than in Sochi or Yalta. The infrastructure of this small village with a population of about 12,000 people is adapted to the influx of tourists. Studying the map of the roads of the Crimean peninsula, it is easy to calculate that the distance from the Simferopol airport, which connects Crimea with mainland Russia, to the Black Sea coast is 140 kilometers.
It can be overcome by bus, minibus or taxi.
History of
In the 4th century BC, the Ionian Greeks arrived on the coast of Tavrida in search of uninhabited territory. The beauty of the Tarkhankut peninsula, its bays and fresh coastal lakes attracted their attention. They founded their settlement in the bay, which they called Beautiful Harbor. To protect it, they built a fortress wall, enclosing four hectares of land, and adorned it with many towers.
The towers defended the town from raids by Dorians, Achaeans, and Aeolians.
Planning to live here happily ever after, the Greeks blocked the streets with small plates, built houses, granaries, wineries, and crushers pressed in the rocks. A lighthouse was built on the shore. In the event of a siege in the basement staged a warehouse with reserves of provisions. On top was a real command post.
Residents of the settlement were allocated land plots - the choir, located parallel to the coastline.
In the 3rd century BC, regular Scythian raids forced the Greeks to reinforce existing structures and build a new line of defense near the bay itself. In II BC, the city finally passes under the authority of the Scythians. Then, replacing each other, the Roksolans and Huns ruled here. By the 1st century AD, the Sarmatians who had invaded from the northern steppes destroyed this city. The greatness of the bay faded, and centuries later its surroundings were mastered by the Tatars.
Then it was called Ak-Mosque and was under the protectorate of the Crimean Khanate.
After the entry of the Crimean Peninsula into the Russian Empire, these lands became the property of Count Voinovich. After 1823, Count Vorontsov began to buy land for the development of vineyards and tobacco plantations. He built a marina, medical institutions, as well as the church of St.. Zahara and Elizabeth. Then, in the 40s of the last century, deportation of the Crimean Tatars began. At the same time the village was renamed the Black Sea.
Weather
Chernomorskoe has a unique climate. Located on Tarkhankut, jutting deep into the sea, the village is surrounded by sea breezes, which act as a natural air conditioner. They change direction twice a day, so the heat is more easily tolerated in summer. The small transport, small population and lack of industrial enterprises makes the air here clean and spicy. This wellness air cocktail contains bromine, iodine and other trace elements.
The sun shines here 241 days a year, and the rains in the summer are rare and short. The air in June warms up to + 22 ° С, and by the end of summer it reaches + 28 ° С. This is facilitated by the peculiarities of the coastline and the seabed topography. The beach season begins in May and lasts until October. The climate is influenced by the sea - absorbing the sun in summer, it is generously divided by it in autumn and winter.
It is cooled only by March, therefore spring is later here than in the internal territories.
The weather in winter is quite unpredictable. Suddenly, frost can hit up to -20 ° C, and if the wind blows from the sea, which often happens, people have a hard time.
True, in recent years, this rarely happens.
Summer is also not without surprises. The heat can reach + 40 ° C, but if the north or north-west wind blows, it carries warmed-up layers of water far into the sea and nails cold to the shore.
Sometimes the drop in water temperature in the sea is about 5-7 °.
How to get there?
It is believed that today it is more comfortable to get to the Crimea by plane, especially from the major cities of Russia. From Moscow or St. Petersburg 3 hours of summer to the airport Simferopol, and from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and other nearby cities - about an hour.
In this case, the cost of the flight varies from 6 thousand rubles round trip depending on the season and the time of purchase of tickets.
From cities located further than Central Russia and the North Caucasus, direct flights are quite expensive. It is more rational to calculate the budget based on the flight to Krasnodar and Anapa, and then by bus to get to the resorts of the Crimea.
This is less comfortable, but with substantial savings it can be justified.
You can get to the cities of southern Russia by train, and from there to the Crimean resorts by bus. In this case, a single ticket is purchased, including train tickets to southern cities and a bus ticket to Crimean health resorts.
The plus of this journey is to dock all flights on time. But there is also a minus - a crush in the queue at the bus and the possible loss of luggage. Car owners can get to the peninsula by a new Crimean bridge, and then ride along the coast, stopping for sightseeing and swimming.
The distance in a straight line from Simferopol to Chernomorsky is 78 kilometers, and on the road - 144. By bus, this distance can be covered in 2 hours and 50 minutes, and by car in 2 hours and 30 minutes. From the airport of the city you need to get to the station. You can use the trolley bus, taxi or taxi. Opposite the station is a bus station in Simferopol.
From there depart regular buses to any town and village, including the Black Sea.
If you wait long for a direct bus trip, you can first get to Evpatoria, and then transfer to a direct flight to the Black Sea. In order to hire a taxi, it is advisable to call an officially registered driver by phone.
Taxi drivers offering services at the station, will take 3 times more expensive than the usual cost, counting on tourist fatigue.

In 1824, the land near the Ak-Mechetskaya harbor, along with several villages, was bought by the governor-general of Novorossia, Count Vorontsov. He was a believer, so he decided to build a church here, ordering its project to the architect Toricelli. Then in Europe there was a gothic fashion, so the order was executed in a pseudo-gothic style. Thus, the Church of Saints Elizabeth and Zechariah appeared in the village with a high bell tower, which served not only its intended purpose, but was also a navigational sign.
It is still valid, but needs restoration.

It is decorated in a fashionable at the time style of the English landscape, as close as possible to nature. Until our time, preserved trees planted under the graph. Guest reviews
Tourists are advised to stop in the Black Sea for people who love beach holidays far from the city bustle. The village is located from the airport more than 3 hours away, which is worth considering when traveling with children.
This holiday will also appeal to supporters of long sea walks along the coast, lovers of the contemplation of natural landscapes and picturesque rocks.
Hungry for entertainment and night clubs vacationers complain about mediocrity and monotony of rest in the Black Sea. Some are unhappy with the crowded city beach and the occasional cold wind blowing up a small sandstorm. The beach itself in the steppe zone is also not admirable, although it is clean and well maintained.
Often the sea brings algae, and behind them appear and jellyfish, corneratoty, which burn.
There is a shortage of pharmacies, so medicines must be taken from home. The complaints are caused by the high cost of food and essential goods in local shops and the lack of retail chains with more competitive prices.
In large stores, prices are two times higher than in Moscow, in small ones - three.
Asphalted roads with wide, comfortable sidewalks are pleasant, there is a lot of greenery and cleanliness, but the presence of destroyed and empty buildings causes sadness.
Fans of outdoor activities are advised to inspect the surroundings both in a group and independently in order to feel the local flavor. It is highly recommended to visit Tarkhankut,
Big and Small Atlesh, Cup of love and enjoy these wild and pristine landscapes.
