Blue bay
The Tsar's beach, which has retained its original charm, occupies a special place among the natural beauties of the peninsula, as it is removed from the traditional tourist routes and difficult of access.
It is located in the Blue Bay, previously worn the name "Robber". Since ancient times, for pirates, robbers, it was a great place for unloading and storing smuggled goods. The tunnels and grottoes created by nature served as warehouses for them. Pirate ships, standing off the coast, were visible only from the sea, it was very difficult to get over land, so the sea robbers were calm for storing their illegal goods and, if necessary, hiding safely from the dangers.
New World
At the end of the XIX century, Prince Lev Sergeevich Golitsyn, visiting the Crimean peninsula, was fascinated by the beauty of the region. Assessing the local nature, he decided to establish the village Paradise. In his estate, he took up the production of champagne. Winemaking was put on a grand scale, produced wines were of high quality. The village flourished.
In 1912, Nicholas II visited Prince Golitsyn, rested in the Crimea. He appreciated not only the success in the production of high-quality wines of the prince, but also the amazing views of the surrounding nature. At the suggestion of the emperor, Paradise was renamed the New World.
Golitsyn trail
Lev Sergeevich Golitsyn, having learned about the upcoming visit of the emperor, decided to arrange a grand meeting. Among the colorful mountain peaks, the winemaker decided to treat the autocrat with a chic drink. To hit the king's imagination, Golitsyn landscaped the ancient path, which the locals called the Road of the infidels. The prince equipped it with stone steps, set up observation platforms, made a storehouse of his wines in the mountain cliffs.
Description of the Royal Beach
The Golitsyna trail connected the village of Novy Svet with the picturesque Blue Bay, located between Kapchik Cape and Karaul-Oba Mountain, which means “Watchtower”. Nicholas II decided on his yacht "Standart" to go to the Blue Bay. Since then, a small beach on the shore of the Blue Bay, in which Nicholas II bathed, is called Tsarsky Beach. In his diary, the monarch enthusiastically spoke of this secluded extraordinary place.
The royal beach is attractive at any time of year in any weather. The color of the water draws attention to itself - bright blue, saturated. It turns out this shade because of the slate at the bottom of the sea, which creates an optical effect. The beach in Blue Bay is covered with dark pebbles. It is also noteworthy that the small pebbles are wiped almost into the sand - a pleasant procedure for a light foot massage. The isolation of the bay, surrounded by mountains, does not allow strong waves to break out.
The picturesqueness of the described place is underlined by large stones and boulders scattered throughout the beach. Rocks and tunnels located in the rocks are filled with water. Blue Bay is a conservation area.
And, as a result, modern infrastructure has not been erected on the protected land, everything was created by nature, there are no trendy hotels, outlets.
Huge stony boulders can be found everywhere on the shore, mountain falls often occur.Large boulders, fragments of rocks used by tourists for sunbathing and jumping into the sea. The transparency of the water allows you to see beautiful fish and small crabs between the stones.
Many tourists and vacationers, hearing about Tsarskoe Beach and Blue Bay, certainly visit these places. A small secluded cozy beach, surrounded by wild rocks, clear clear sea of bright blue color, snow-white ships and boats - an excellent background for photo shoots.
Romantic fairy-tale atmosphere will long remain in the memory of travel lovers. Climbers visit these places with pleasure, they are attracted by high rocky mountains.
Located near the juniper grove and the Crimean pine, fill the air with oxygen, freshness, as a result, breathe freely and easily here. The royal beach attracts the attention of more pristine beauty. Picturesque wild slopes, bays, capes, mountains - all this looks exciting. An unforgettable picture is also presented at the sight of the sea - the water of extraordinarily beautiful color, clear, offers a wonderful view in any direction.
Restrictions on the beach
Recently, the number of holidaymakers in the Crimea has increased, especially this is felt at the height of the season. The last few years officially banned swimming because of the threat of rockfalls and landslides. Nevertheless, there are tourists who neglect these rules.
Royal Beach is considered wild, there are no benefits of civilization: there are no cafes, hotels, so those who want to relax on Tsarskoe Beach, taking foodstuffs with them, set up tents and live in them for several days.
But we must not forget that the beach is located in a protected area, there are certain rules of conduct for holidaymakers.
How to get there?
Those who wish to visit the Royal Beach will have to go on foot through the botanical reserve. At the same time, you need to remember to wear good shoes, take water with you and be patient.
The nearest town from the beach is the New World.
From the village walk to the Tsar beach can be on the remains of the famous Golitsyn trail. The path along the trail will inspire those who love walking with obstacles. On the way, it is impossible to weaken attention, because there is almost nothing to grasp here, and from the fences there are only rare bushes, sometimes prickly. But on the way to the holidaymakers await unforgettable landscapes.
You can walk through the Juniper Grove. The distance to the beach is relatively small - about a kilometer, but the way is hampered by crumbling rubble, high rapids and slippery stones. But this way is valued by the fact that on the way you can breathe full chest with oxygen: the air literally oozes with the scent of coniferous trees, which gives strength, refreshes and improves health.
The easiest, but also the most expensive way - water transport. During the hot tourist season (approximately from May to October), various boats, boats, yachts and "bananas" arrive at the bay. Thanks to this, it is not difficult to get to the place of rest for parents with babies and people who do not tolerate exercise. One-way delivery cost per person is 250-300 rubles. There is no clear timetable for transport, but in the summer it runs about every half hour. There are a lot of boats, so there are enough places for those who wish to go by sea.
