Features of rest in Parkovy in Crimea
Since 2014, the Crimea peninsula has become a popular resort point due to its accession to Russia. Tourists actively visit this place, famous for its beautiful and diverse nature, developed infrastructure, historical sites and a variety of beaches. Despite several major resort towns (Feodosia, Yalta, Alushta, Evpatoria), experienced tourists are more willing to choose nearby villages and urban-type settlements, which makes it possible to save money and get acquainted with the sights hidden from the eyes of most tourists. One of such places is the urban-type settlement Parkovoe.
Village history
The village is located on the southern coast of the Republic of Crimea and is divided into two parts, passing highway Sevastopol-Yalta. Its northern part has preserved an old settlement, and the lower one has turned into a resort point adjacent to the sea. The place itself is located at an altitude of about 330 meters above sea level, a length of 145 hectares.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the land in this area belonged to the trader Rasteryaev, who was from Petersburg. Later he divided the land into 3 parts and sold them. The part, which is now called Parkovoe, was acquired by the artist J. In Zhukovsky, who built a manor house with a beautiful park in this area.
Until 1968, the territory was called the new Kuchuk-Koy, later it was renamed Parkovoye, in honor of the park ensemble, built on the estate.
When the estate was built park occupying a plot of 6 hectares, were exposed Sculptures of Matveyev. Before World War II, the park was decorated with 8 famous sculptures, but after the war, most of them were completely or partially destroyed. Some fragments were taken to the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, many of them were restored, and the sculptor's students recreated completely lost ones. To date, on the estate work resorts and motels.
Location and nature
The nature on the southern side of the peninsula is rich in a rich green tint, a riot of greenery, cypress trees enrich the air with useful oxygen. Along the perimeter of the village are white rocks, the climate is mild, and the water is warm enough since June. The air temperature in summer is at +30 degrees and above. There are some notes of subtropical climate, the humidity in the Park is moderate.
The settlement is located between two large resort cities: Theodosia and Yalta. The distance between the village and Feodosiya is only 10 kilometers, and Yalta 30. Public transport is well developed in Parkovy, so in the absence of your own car, it will be easy and convenient to get to nearby cities. On the road will have to spend less than half an hour.
To get to the village from the airport in two ways.
- At the operating terminals you can buy a ticket for trolley buses to Yaltawho walk at intervals of 40 minutes to an hour. In the Crimea, launched a new type of trolley with air conditioning and large windows with curtains. This option is quite budget
- On cruise minibuses, tickets to which you can buy only in new terminals. They are located at the airport, but a ticket to Yalta on such transport will cost about 500 rubles.
Trolley buses 17, 20 and bus number 49 go from the station to Yalta. There is an opportunity to get to the Crimea by train, unfortunately, for this you have to make one transfer. On the official website during the active period of holidays from April to September, single tickets are sold, the cost of which includes transfers.Transfer from the train to the bus is carried out in Anapa or Krasnodar.
There are private companies that carry out direct flights on comfortable buses to the Crimea. The city of arrival is most often the city of Simferopol, usually buses do not reach Yalta. After arriving in Simferopol, you will need to go to the main bus station and purchase tickets for the bus, route taxi or trolleybus to Yalta.
For comfort, travel by trolleybus is nothing compared to anything, but due to the slow ride on the road, you will have to spend an additional 3 hours.
You can also take a taxi to the village. You can save a little by ordering a taxi directly from the airport. Thanks to the construction and opening of the Crimean bridge, it became convenient to get to the Crimea in a personal vehicle. The village can be reached by South Coast and Sudak highway. The roads of the Crimea itself are a series of serpentines overlooking the sea and picturesque nature.
Housing
Find a place to sleep in Parkovy, as in other parts of the Crimea is not difficult. Prices compared to large resort areas are cheaper by half. Prices are increasing in proximity to the sea, the cheapest options are in the upper parts of the city and vice versa. Coming down to the beach is convenient given the slope, but more difficult to climb, especially on a hot summer day.
Renting the private sector is more profitable than mini-hotels, but in hotels the comfort level is higher. For example, you can consider such options as "Zhukovka" and "on the Park". From any windows, if you believe reviews, offers a gorgeous view of the green trees and rocks, which in Park is abundant. In the park you can also find many resorts, starting from three stars and above.
Accommodation in a sanatorium such as "Crimean breeze" can reach 3,000 rubles and more per night. They say it was built as a private residence of the president, and his location was classified. To this day, no signs can be found leading to this sanatorium.
There are also rental options for boathouses, private houses or apartments. The boathouses are premises for the maintenance of boats, but among tourists and in resort countries they are converted into comfortable housing. Feature of the boathouse is in close proximity to the sea. A private house or a boathouse is well suited for a family holiday. Rental housing in Parkovy is diverse and suitable for both budget holidays, and for an all-inclusive holiday.
Due to the favorable weather, the whole village is covered with dense greenery, the city looks more like a large park, where streets and planted cypress trees meet. This place is suitable for people who love a healthy and relaxing holiday. There are no noisy clubs, attractions and bars, but few tourists and too much noise. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants in the city, and the infrastructure itself is sufficiently developed for a full and comfortable rest.
The main attraction of the Park is the park Zhukovsky, which occupies 6 hectares, there are gazebos, benches, recreation areas, beautiful statues and fountains.
Beaches
There are several beaches in the village, and they all differ in their diversity. Their main advantage is a sufficient amount of space. The central park, 20 meters wide, has a length of 2 kilometers, there are many cafes and restaurants near the beach where you can eat at a budget and hearty.
The beach has water attractions for children, the possibility of renting sun loungers and concrete sheds for those who want to hide from the scorching sun. On the beaches, as expected, are changing cabins and showers. The beach itself is covered with small pebbles, probably this is the only negative, especially for lovers of soft sand under their feet.
It is necessary to be careful when entering the water, as you can stumble upon large boulders and even sharp stones, but this is offset by the transparency of the water. Many swimmers at the base of the breakwaters will be able to dive, collect shell rocks and watch the underwater wildlife, in the water for this there are designated areas.
Further along the perimeter are the beaches of the “Crimean breeze”, the difference between them is only in a smaller number of people, but the entrance is open only to the residents of the sanatorium. The entrance to the water is almost everywhere flat that allows you to relax with children.
Access to the beach area is also permitted by car. Camping lovers in the area can stumble upon wild beaches and settle down on the beach.
