Story
The name of the village in Greek means "girl". According to legend, on one of the mountains surrounding Partenit, once stood the temple of the goddess Virgo. Parthenit valley was inhabited in ancient times. Locals engaged in farming, fished, and established trade relations. In the future, this place was a seaport, and then - the city-capital. As a result, the town again became a village.
The Raevsky family revived the terrain, cultivated vineyards to a new level. They took up wine production, began to decorate the village with rare plants. Not far away were the estates of Winners, Gagarins, who also appreciated the local climate and nature.
After the war, Partenit was renamed Frunze. The terrain acquired a resort destination, sanatoriums for military, astronauts began to appear. Here rested Zhukov, Konev, Leonov, Titov. In 1991, the village regained its original name. Now it is a popular resort area, allowing everyone who wants to relax and heal his body.
How to get there?
To get to the resort from the airport of Simferopol is easy. There is an intercity bus station. You need to take a bus or trolleybus, going along the route "Simferopol-Yalta". The first option is more convenient, since the trolley bus drops passengers on the track. In this case, from the stop you will have about 3 km to walk to the village or call a local taxi.

Guest reviews
According to tourists, rest in Partenit has both advantages and disadvantages. Advantages:
- the climate of the resort has a positive effect on human health, strengthens the immune system, promotes healing;
- delightful landscapes leave an indelible impression;
- it is pleasant to swim in the warm sea;
- most locals are very welcoming;
- good location of the village and well-established transport links allows you to easily and quickly get to other resorts and interesting places;
- in Partenit itself, there is also something to see; it is impossible to name a boring vacation;
- The variety of proposed excursions with transport from the hotel itself or the sanatorium gives you the opportunity to choose a rest for every taste.
disadvantages:
- prices for housing, food and entertainment here are higher than, for example, in Feodosia (at the level of Yalta);
- most beaches are paid;
- although public transport runs regularly, after 20.00 you will not be able to take the bus (if necessary you will have to call a taxi).
In defense of the resort is to say that if you do not make high demands on housing and make an order for rental in advance, you can easily keep within the acceptable amount.
As for excursions, you can get to other places by bus, and buy tickets already on site. This will save. Although you need to be prepared for the overcrowding of regular buses in the season.
Finally, many tourists are quite happy with the central free beach, although it is crowded here. Should I go to Partenit, you decide. However, it is fair to note that there are more positive reviews. And this is not surprising because the beautiful village with healing air has long been recognized as a unique resort area.
