In the east of the Crimea peninsula, 18 kilometers from the city of Kerch, on the coast of the Azov Sea near Cape Zyuk is the village of Kurortnoye. It appeared in the XVIII century from the settlement of the Old Believers, and until 1948 it had an intriguing name - Russian Mother. He was given to him by the similar name of a neighboring village - Mama Tatarskaya, where the Crimean Tatars lived. After World War II, the village of Mama Tatarskaya disappeared, and Mama Russian was renamed Mysove by the authorities. In the early 70s of the last century, the village was named Kurortnoye, which speaks for itself. This is the best place to relax from the bustle of the city and health promotion.

Description

The village is small there are only 17 streets and 2 lanes in it, but at the same time all the conditions for a full-fledged tourist rest are created. Here are beautiful sandy beaches with a length of almost 4 kilometers, where you can find amazing beauty of shells. Gentle shores and shallow waters provide a convenient and safe entrance for swimming with small children.

How to get there?

If you look at the detailed map of the Crimea, you can see that the village of Kurortnoye is the northernmost point of the Kerch Peninsula. Arrival of tourists to rest in this place runs through the city of Kerch. For those who use air transport, it should be noted that the nearest airports to the city are in Simferopol, Anapa and Krasnodar.

It is very convenient if the plane arrives in Simferopol in the morning or in the evening. At this time, right from the airport runs a bus to Kerch. Unfortunately, there are no such flights in the daytime, so you need to get to the city bus station. If you arrive at the airport of Anapa or Krasnodar, then you need to get to the bus stations of these cities and buy tickets to Kerch.

To save time, you can use a taxi service, which is better to book in advance for the flight arrival or call upon the aircraft landing through the official service, thankfully, at the time of the Internet it is quite easy to do. But if you rely on the services of the so-called "bombed", then their prices may be inflated several times.

Very popular trips by train on a single ticket to Anapa or Krasnodar, and there by organized transfer to Kerch. From the bus station to get to the desired destination is not difficult. Shuttle taxi No. 69 goes to the Resort every 30 minutes. In the summer, when there is a large influx of tourists, flights are more frequent. The duration of the trip is 20-30 minutes.

For those who prefer to come to relax in their car, the opening of the Crimean Bridge has made it much easier. There is no need to wait for a long queue at the ferry and waste money on the crossing. The capacity of the bridge is 40 thousand cars per day.

An excellent route from Moscow to the south is the M4 (Don-4).Most of its plots cover European standards. The path through the Crimean bridge to Kerch from the capital is about 1500 km.

Having entered Kerch, you need to follow Karl Marx Street to Vokzalnoye Highway, then turn right and follow Kokorin Street until it ends, then go to Shosseynaya Street. Further, the road signs will point the way to the Resort.

Holidays in the resort complement the historical and natural attractions.

Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin built in 1913 by the Old Believers community. In his lifetime, he has seen a lot. There were times when he stopped acting. But in recent years, the temple inside has been completely renovated with funds from charity. From the old building there was only a stone frame. This is the only existing Old Believer church in the Crimea is the center of the spiritual life of the Old Believers of the Kerch Peninsula.

Near the village on Cape Zyuk there is an interesting archaeological site - the excavations of the ancient city. During the time of the domination of the Greeks in the northern part of the town was located, the inhabitants of which were engaged in winemaking. The occupied area was only 1 hectare, but judging by the found parts of the fortification, it was a city. The exact data on its name has not been preserved, but the researchers believe that this is Zenonov Chersonese. Up to now only half of the fortress wall has remained. Found fragments of the winery III-IV century AD. er and many fragments of earthenware jars and amphorae.

Cape Zyuk is one of the most mysterious places. It still remains a mystery why no human remains were found in this area, although the remains of domestic animals were found. According to indigenous people, in the early 2000s, as a result of an earthquake, part of the excavation area slipped into the sea. According to one of the versions, it is possible that for the same reason Zenonov Chersonesos also disappeared.

Immediately behind the village, opposite the coast of the Azov Sea, there is a reserve of local significance - Chokrak mud lake. The name has a Crimean-Tatar origin and is translated as "spring". Its area is about 8 square meters. km, and the depth does not exceed 1.5 meters. Salinity of the lake is very high - from 80 to 180 ppm. The only inhabitant of the reservoir is a small red artemia cancer.

The first mentions of the miraculous lake near the city of Panticapaeum (previously called Kerch) appeared in ancient times. It is known that healed the Crimean khans with his healing gifts, exported the mud to other countries and took the fee in gold. In the XIX century, the mud baths worked here, but during the Civil War it was destroyed.

The main advantages of the mud - a high level of mineralization, a large number of useful trace elements, salts and biologically active organic substances in the composition. Thanks to them, on the lake you can:
