Wet chemistry for short, medium and long hair

Curling of the strands is caused by the fact that the density of protein bonds in the hair shaft weakens as a result of the action of aggressive compounds, and the scales open up. Due to this, the curls twisted on bobbins take the necessary form.

The elasticity and durability of the wave is provided by:

• high quality composition;
• the correct time of its exposure on the curls;
• individual features;
• heating over 20 degrees.

Wet perm is not for all women. Since during the procedure, the curls are seriously stressed, you should not resort to this technique if you have weakened and damaged hair. In this case, it makes sense to first conduct a course of repair procedures and only after that contact the master.

In addition, there are several contraindications to perm. These include:

• the period of pregnancy and lactation;
• high blood pressure;
• fever and fever;
• antibiotics, as well as hormonal and chemotherapy;

Wet chemistry has many advantages:

However, it was not without drawbacks.

• The effect of perm is retained from 3-4 weeks to six months. This largely depends on the individual characteristics and the degree of aggressiveness of the active substance.
• Even the most modern drugs injure curls, lead to their dryness, brittleness and rupture, so we are not talking about completely safe chemistry. At this stage, a woman can only choose the lesser of the evils.
• Some hair types are thick and dense, resistant to drugs.
• The procedure can not be applied to the newly tinted hair. From the moment of coloring it should take at least 15-20 days.
• Before curling, be sure to cut the ends.

There are 2 basic executions of wet chemistry.

• Vertical the curling is done solely on long curls, while strands are twisted into a tight braid and wrapped around cone-shaped curlers. It is imperative that the hair is tight to each other and wound in the same direction. As a result of all the manipulations, spectacular large spirals are obtained.

• Japanese chemistry - This is the best solution for problem hair. Also, women with problem skin resort to it. • neutral - the composition very carefully handles the hair, but curliness lasts a maximum of 3 months;
• Amino acid - mainly suitable for carving and light chemistry, with the use of such drugs, the hair additionally receives the necessary treatment and additional nutrition.

For carrying out a wet curling can use bobbins of several types:

• American - have a special shape, which makes possible the tight fixation of the strands to each other, the gum is missing;
• Japanese - are distinguished by the absence of the usual "waist";
• spiral - equipped with removable clips made of plastic;
• Wagers - supplemented with a plastic hairpin, which is responsible for holding the hair;
• all sorts of creative shapers.

Perm even with the use of the most benign drugs involves a rather aggressive effect on the hair - they become more fragile, thin and whipped. That is why the hairstyle should be prepared for a similar procedure. During the month, a couple of times a week, make nourishing and moisturizing hair masks containing vitamin-mineral complexes, oils and proteins. Supplement the effect of taking vitamins - internal support is no less important than external support. Be sure to visit the hairdresser and get rid of the split ends.

On the day of the procedure, the head should be thoroughly washed.Some wizards in the old-fashioned way recommend using soap for this, but nowadays there is a large selection of deep-acting shampoos. It is better to give preference to them - so the strands will be better perceived active drugs.

Separately, you need to look at the reaction of the hair - select a small strand on the back of the head and apply the preparation on it. If the hair darkens - you risk burning it and instead of luxurious curls get bristling hair in different directions.

The technique of performing chemistry for long and medium strands includes several basic steps.

6. After removing the cap, the hair is washed without removing the bobbins.
7. Apply a fixer and hold it on your head for 10-15 minutes. After the allotted time has expired, the hair is washed, the hair curlers are unwound, and the hair is again washed with shampoo.
8. In conclusion, the curls rinsed with a weak solution of apple cider vinegar.

The maximum wet chemistry is maintained for 6 months, however, during this time, curls under the influence of external factors and severity of the heaps gradually unwind, so every month the waviness is less noticeable. However, there are cases when the perm was held for up to 7-8 months. The length of the hairstyle is influenced by the size and shape of the bobbins, the structure and length of the strands, the exposure time of the fixative composition. Any chemistry damages the curls and makes them dry, because the strands begin to tangle and badly comb. Correct the situation can only care about them. For washing, stop the choice on healing shampoos, complementing them with moisturizing balms, oils and serums with nutrients. Such measures are especially necessary with respect to long hair, since wet chemistry is done on them using concentrated mixtures, and the dwell time is longer than for short and medium strands.
