It would seem that it could be easier: I went to the pet store, bought food, filled it in time, everyone was happy. But cat food is not only a pet treat, but also someone's business. Not always conscientious, by the way. Therefore, the question of the quality of food, its relevance and feeding norms must be studied.

To feed the cat with remnants from the owner's table is not an option. Animals accustomed to such nutrition, can, of course, get used to pasta, and sour cream with potatoes, but there is little good. Predator, which the domestic cat has not ceased to be, needs high-quality animal food. And if almost no one gets to organize food (this is really a luxury), then you can pick up adapted feeds. Not just pick up, but also follow nutritional standards - that’s the task of a caring owner.

When the kitten is two months old, he is ready to eat dry food. At the same time it is important where exactly the pet will eat. It must be a definite, unchanging place, dry and clean. If the kitten is to eat where everyone is constantly walking, where there is no calm environment for him, this may affect the cat's eating behavior.. Therefore, the indispensable conditions for food is peace and tranquility in the place where the pet has a bowl.

If the cat is still small - 2-3 kg, then the serving size should be from 30 to 50 g. It must be products with a balanced composition. A cat weighing 10 kg, which is, of course, a heavy weight, should not eat more than 105 g of dry food per day: this leads to obesity.

The table is a guide for the host. It is very important to feed properly in terms of frequency. If the baby is not yet half a year old, then the kitten must be fed according to the four-daily diet. If he has already outgrown this age, meals may be three times or even two meals.

Experts do not advise owners of kittens to mix dry food with natural food - for a kitten's digestive tract it is an excessive burden. In addition, it is important that there is always water in the drinking bowl. Vitamin supplements kitten should be given only on the recommendations of the veterinarian.

Typically, such procedures lead to the fact that the cat eats more per day than ever. Appetite increases, and sometimes against this background, the pet becomes obese. It is better if the cat, which has survived such stress, you start to buy food with less fat. The animal should move more during this period, so brighten up the situation caused by castration or sterilization with new pet toys. The balls will help the cat to escape literally: he will begin to run, jump, frolic, which is very important for him during this period.

It is usually more protein and less carbohydrate, and this reduces the risk of obesity.

If you buy economy class food, you do not save at all! Paradoxically, but this is so. When you took three packs of stock, and it seems that the next time you have to visit the pet store soon, you are mistaken. Cheap food usually does not saturate the animal with a small portion. It is necessary to pour out almost a third of the pack, so that the cat ate. A more expensive product is usually so balanced that even a tablespoon or two cats eat slowly, and remains full for a long time.

For older cats, the rule for calculating the norm is as follows: the daily ration is no more than 7% of the body weight of the animal. The quality feed will contain components that help the animal’s immune, cardiovascular and urinary systems.

Another point should be clarified. Of course, all animal organisms are unique. And all those norms that are given on packages of dry food, averaged. If your cat eats a little more, while it is cheerful and graceful, this is a normal situation. Track how much feed is spent per month, compare with average values. A small deviation in one way or another benefit is, of course, permissible. If the deviation is not a small name, you need to think.

It happens this: the cat asks for food more than the norm indicated on the package. At the same time in weight, he does not add. This does not mean that an animal necessarily has a terrible diagnosis. You may have to simply change the feed, because this pet does not satisfy the nutritional needs of the pet.

You feed an animal with good food if:

• he has a shiny, healthy coat;
• strong teeth;
• well-being and mood.
