How and what to get to the Crimea, everyone decides for himself. For a family, it can be one way, for a solo trip - another. There are many options, it is worth considering each in more detail.

How to get there by car and motorbike?

If you are a lover of outdoor activities, then this option is for you. In order to get to the Crimea by car, you no longer need to languish for a long time on the ferry and pay extra money for it. For such a long journey, you should download applications such as 2GIS, Maps. me and others. Be careful, some navigators can pave the way through Ukraine, such routes cut off immediately.

The road from Moscow lies along the M4 Don highway, on which you are flying, and not driving, since this is a quality track, with good road surface. It has a lot of paid sites. During the season, this can result in many hours of idleness in queues at payment points. But here there is a solution - the purchase of a transponder or in another way a t-pass.

It provides dedicated lanes for its owners, which reduces time. If you often travel by car in this direction, then the purchase will pay off completely for you already for 2 trips. On the road there are signs to the Crimean bridge. Its distance is 19 km plus 20-30 km on each side. There are no gas stations from the bridge, so be prepared for this.

Do not forget that gasoline on the peninsula is about 10% more expensive than on the mainland, so you should fill up a full tank in advance in order to spend less on it. On average, the journey from the capital takes 20-24 hours, the distance is 1600 km.

And if you are a happy owner of a motorcycle, driving alone and do not like to stay in some places for a long time, then a motorcycle tour is for you! If you plan a route in advance, it will be easy to move around and rest. And on the very peninsula you can easily and maneuverable move from one point to another and see the sights.

You can also go on a trip on electric bikes. Now there are models that reach a speed of 30 km / h on flat stretches of the road and small climbs. If you move from one locality to another, then you can safely use it. This bike requires approximately every 70 km of battery charging. It is suitable for moving in the Crimea, if you want to be more mobile when exploring local attractions.

Train travel

The train is one of the best options for moving a family, if you are a supporter of a relaxing holiday and do not plan to move anywhere from place to place. But there is one problem. There is no direct train to the destination. You can take a train to Krasnodar or Anapa, and from there by bus over the bridge across the Kerch Strait. You can separately purchase 2 tickets: on the train and on the bus. But it is better to purchase “Single ticket”. He will free you from running around and losing time in lines.

You also travel by train to Krasnodar or Anapa, after which you take the bus for the same ticket and arrive at the port of Kavkaz. From this port on the ferry you move to the port "Crimea" and again by bus you reach the most popular resort towns. You can buy such a ticket at the box office of Russian Railways.

Time to travel will take along with all transfers from 1.5 to 2 days, depending on the selected item of stay. This way is better to choose those tourists who do not have the opportunity to fly on an airplane, or when there is no car, or maybe there is no desire to drive.

It will be convenient to rest on the train, especially if you choose a coupe. Dine in the dining car. There is a toilet room. All these are undoubted advantages of the train.

How to fly by plane?

This method is the most comfortable and fast. From Moscow to the Crimea you will reach in just 3-4 hours. And it is cheaper to take a round-trip ticket. The advantage is the lack of running around the station with luggage, fast arrival time. The disadvantages include the fact that the flight may be postponed due to bad weather or delayed departure for an indefinite time. From Simferopol it is necessary to get to a place of rest with the help of a transfer (it can be paid or free, it all depends on the hotel where you stay and its conditions) or by bus. It will still take some time. But still this is the easiest option of all.

In order to purchase a ticket, you can contact the travel agency or, using your own search engines, choose among all flight options. A lot of them: Svyaznoy Travel, Skyscanner, Aviasales and others. You enter the necessary flight parameters, and the system selects the cheapest, profitable and convenient options. As a result, from a variety of proposals, you choose what suits you.

Ferry

The history of the ferry is rooted in ancient times, even then people were concerned about the message between the two banks. In 1944, a railway bridge was built, which acted only 3 months, and in the winter in 1945 due to the large amount of ice deposited from the Sea of Azov, it was damaged and could not be restored. Later it was decided to build a ferry as the cheapest option for travel.

The distance between the ports of "Caucasus - Kerch" is about 5 km. A ferry passes at the narrowest point of the Kerch Strait. This kind of crossing almost ceased to be used. It is used to transport military trains and the military itself, accompanying cargo by rail. Also, the construction of a railway to the Crimea is underway, therefore, over time, this function of the ferry will no longer be needed.

Sometimes a ferry ride is carried out for trucks, but as the Crimean bridge was opened and the traffic for trucks became irrelevant.

Bus ride

This type of movement is the cheapest and relatively fast. If, for example, leave Moscow at 10 am, then the next day you will already be at 2 pm in Simferopol. The ticket price for June 2019 is approximately 3,500 rubles per person.

In order to take advantage of this type of transport, you must arrive at the Central Bus Station (Schelkovsky) or at the Krasnogvardeyskaya, Novoyasenevskaya and International South Gate bus stations in Moscow. It is worth buying a ticket in advance, as tickets in a southerly direction are bought up quickly. To clarify their availability, you can call the carriers, with a personal visit to the bus station or on websites.

If you want to carry an extra load or an animal, it is better to clarify these points with the carrier right away, you may have to pay some amount or these services are not provided at all. The bus will be inconvenient to ride if you have problems with your back or legs, because with prolonged sitting your legs may swell and sore back. Children will be uncomfortable to rest because of the inability to lie down.

If you do not have another opportunity to go, then use light footwear and special relaxing means for the legs, this will help relieve tension and ease the ride.

What is needed on the way?

  • Wear comfortable shoes for comfort: sneakers, sneakers, sandals without heels (especially at the airport) or moccasins will do. Clothing is better to choose non-marking and "breathable" cotton.
  • Take a bottle of water for each person, as hot weather and stuffiness greatly dehydrate the body.
  • On the road, you can take scanwords, a book, a tablet to pass the time on the road.
  • If you are with children, then they will need spare sets of clothes for the road, toys, books, cartoons on your phone or tablet.
  • For gadgets handy portable charger or in another way - an external battery. These devices help to charge your phone or other device without an outlet, some of them have the function of wireless charging. Sufficient capacity of such a battery at 5000-10000 mAh.
  • You will need a small pad and blanket.
  • Do not take with you perishable foods, it is better to take fruit, instant noodles, pre-sliced bread and coffee and tea bags.
