Nowadays, a relatively new trend in “nail art” - ombré has appeared. This style originates in France. The technique of its execution is based on fuzzy smooth transitions of several colors from one to another. In the usual gradient manicure, there are pronounced boundaries, and in the ombré they are blurred, shaded.

This technique is quite simple, and it can be done at home by yourself. These nails look great in the work environment, and at a party or in a club. Ombre transitions can be vertical, horizontal, diagonal and even point-based - it all depends on imagination and skills. With this manicure, you can highlight any outfit and personalize your image.

Features

There are several ways of applying varnish on the work surface. When staining with one tone, only the intensity of the color changes. You can use two or three different colors on one nail. In this case, the lightest tone will go to a darker one. Also interesting is the option of applying a darker tone of the same color to each subsequent finger.

Application technique

The most versatile is considered to be the white gradient, which will perfectly fit into any image. To create it requires a varnish, as well as a basic set of conventional tools for manicure, because the surface must first be carefully prepared for the coating.

This is usually done like this:

  • remove the old coating;
  • remove the cuticle;
  • file off the nail plate to the desired shape.

Before starting a decorative manicure, you should prepare everything you need. You will need: varnish-based, several decorative varnishes of different colors or colors, a fixative, a sponge or a brush, a palette, cotton swabs and nail polish remover.

There are several ways to perform an ombre at home: smooth transitions of tones are obtained by feathering with a brush for decoration or with a sponge.

Sponge

First you need to apply a varnish base. To do this, use both the transparent and the lightest of the selected tones. They cover the surface completely. It is better to smear the areas around the nail with fat cuticle cream or just for the hands. So on the skin will not lacquer traces of the sponge.

Further, using a palette and a brush for feathering, it is necessary to recreate all the transitions of the lacquer coating from tone to tone. In this case, the tips of the nails should use the darkest shades. This technique visually lengthens the nail plate.

Sponge slightly moistened with water. This is done so that she did not have time to soak up the entire varnish at once. Dipping sponge into the finished lacquer composition several times, it is gently applied to the nail. At the same time it is necessary to avoid strong pressing, as deep prints from the sponge can remain. For a brighter manicure, you can still apply the composition to the surface several times.

Since the lacquer is absorbed into the sponge quickly, for each subsequent nail mixing must be repeated. After completing the staining on both hands, the varnish should dry. When strong irregularities occur, they are corrected by feathering with a brush.

At the end, a fixer is applied, which removes small irregularities from the sponge - the surface will be smooth and shiny.

Lacquer residues around the nail plate can be removed with a cotton swab. In the case when a little coating gets on the area without the cream, you can use a special liquid to remove it.

Use brush

All preparatory work is performed in the same way as in the previous method.But after applying the foundation, the lightest tone of the selected palette is superimposed on the root of the nail to the middle or one third of the working surface. It depends on the number of colors or tones of lacquer. Next, with the help of a brush for decoration, gently, without pressure, shade the lacquer contour. Then a darker tone is also applied and shaded. Easy brush movements need to smooth out the transition between different colors as much as possible. The contour of the nail at the end, you can circle the darkest varnish.

Next, the varnish should dry. After that, a fixer is applied to it, and the ombre manicure is ready.

Varieties

White ombre is very similar in tone to the usual French manicure, and the color range used to create it is the same varnishes.

The easiest, but no less beautiful option - white manicure. The number of layers of varnish depends on the desired color intensity. You can paint the surface in two layers that will look easy and fresh. If you apply a multi-layer application, but the nails will resemble pearls and play, which is also very stylish.

However, if you wish, you can dilute the white color with pastel shades of pink, blue and beige. As a rule, colored lacquer is applied to the lower part of the nail, and the tip is painted white.

Such a manicure can maintain the tone of clothing, shoes, makeup. A small combination in the colors of the bow is not only beautiful, but also stylish.

In addition, the white gradient on the nails looks good with glitters and rhinestones, which in small quantities will be relevant during the daytime.
