Neat and well-groomed hands are an integral part of the bow of a modern girl. With the help of a manicure, you can cheer up, create a certain impression, emphasize or complement any part of the image, add zest.
What it is?
Modern designers to create intrigue in the image of the offer to draw nails in the style of "cat's eye." This name speaks for itself, as it comes from the eponymous semi-precious stone. Its appearance, distinguished by its depth and unique modulations, is very similar to the eye of the cat family.
Colors
This type of manicure looks best in dark colors. One of the most appropriate colors emphasizing the merits of this style is blue and its light shades.
Any of the blue tones is perfectly combined with the whole cold range., with green and shades of yellow. In addition, silver and golden decor, various rhinestones and foil stand out against its background.
How to do?
There are several ways to perform this type of coating in the home: using gel polish with metal particles and using standard magnetic varnish.
Whichever option is used, the usual nail treatment is performed first. To do this, remove the old coating. Then carefully remove the cuticle and process the tips of the nails with a nail file. This type of manicure is combined with any form.
Gel polish
First, the base is applied to protect the nail plate from damage. When processing do not forget about the end of the nail. Then the coating must be thoroughly dried under ultraviolet light.
The first layer of gel polish is applied to the desired effect, either in the base tone or in the one reflected in the depth of the nail. At this stage, magnet processing is optional. It all depends on the desired result and is determined experimentally.
Then this layer is dried under the lamp, but the drying time is kept slightly longer than at the beginning. It will be enough to add one minute.
Next, put the main shade that needs to be magnetized. This procedure is performed for 5-10 seconds on each nail. The optimal distance between the magnet and the working surface is 5 mm.
This layer is also placed under the lamp for 2-3 minutes, followed by the application of a finishing fixing coating. It is dried longer than the rest of the layers - up to 4 minutes.
The final step is to remove the sticky layer with the help of a klinder.
Magnetic varnish
This method is much faster and easier, but the coating itself will hold for less time. To begin with, as in the previous method, the base is applied. Then the surface is coated with a magnetic varnish in one or several layers, depending on the desired color intensity.
It must be remembered that such varnish dries very quickly. Therefore, after applying the main color to the nail, the “magnet” should be used immediately. A sufficient exposure time is about 30 seconds.
And the manicure is completed with a top coat, which needs to be allowed to dry completely.
Design options
It should be immediately noted that the “magnet” provides a large field for activity in creating glare patterns. The direction and shape of the "cat's eye" on the nail depends entirely on the type of magnetic varnish. To form a blurry effect, you can move it slightly above the surface.
Glare on a background of blue or blue hue can be placed along, across, obliquely or along the edge of the nail plate.Further, the composition can be decorated with rhinestones or patterns.
Another option to create different patterns is a magnetic pen. A small thickness helps create freakish streaks and lines by the magnetic particles themselves. But this option is more suitable for gel polish, as ordinary varnish dries quickly.
This design can be combined with other directions of nail art. Excellent tandem "cat's eye" creates a moon and openwork style. In addition, this decor looks good in a matte version.
Any variation of the cat's style will add an image of individuality and mystery.
