Artificial hair tails: types, use and care

Neat and original hairstyle is a decoration for any fashionista. It is worth noting that not all women nature rewarded with thick and voluminous hair. In the modern world, to create a stylish image, tails (hairpieces) are made of artificial hair. With the right choice and proper care, this accessory will last you for a long time.

Make false tails of both artificial and natural hair. The first are distinguished by their low weight, diverse color palette and affordable price. Their length, as a rule, ranges from 40 to 80 cm. The texture of artificial hair is different: from blond straight to black wavy.

In most cases, the types of chignon mounts are as follows:

• on invoice tape;
• on the crab - hairpin (small size).

When buying this accessory, remember that your little female "trick" should be invisible and in appearance does not differ from natural hair. When purchasing an artificial "tail", you should pay attention to certain details of the purchase:

• the color of chignon and “native” hair should be the same;
• overhead hairpieces should be of good quality (shiny, silky and easy to comb);
• the advantage of fastening with a tape is to create a beautiful hair in a matter of minutes;
• the crab is harder to disguise, but the chignon will be firmly fixed, unlike the fabric.
• Do not overdo it with the volume of the artificial tail. Otherwise, in combination with the "native" hair, it will look ridiculous.

In order for artificial hair for a long time not to lose a beautiful appearance, it is necessary to properly care for them. By analogy with natural, they can be painted, screwed up and even washed. The better care will be taken for this accessory, the more beautiful and more refined your hairstyle will look.

Non-natural tails are contaminated with no less than natural. Of course, artificial hair is often undesirable to subject to water procedures. Ideally, they can be washed after the 10th “socks”.

To “soften” the water, add soda to it (2 teaspoons to 1 liter of liquid). Wash hairpiece is easy, the procedure consists of several steps.

1. Fill the basin with warm water and add a special shampoo.
2. Dips the tail of artificial hair into it for 10 minutes (no more).
3. Gently rinse. Places of severe contamination can be slightly rubbed with a small brush.
4. Next, wash the hairpiece under cool water.
5. Wrap in a towel artificial strands for a few seconds, and then straighten them.
6. Leave to dry for 10-12 hours. It is not recommended to use a hair dryer and dry in direct sunlight.
7. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated.

After the “unnatural” hair dries, they must be combed. We take a volume comb with soft natural bristles and, dividing the tail into several strands, begin to comb each upwards. For convenience, we use hairpins and “invisible”. When “knots” appear, patiently unravel them with our hands (do not pull!). In the extreme case, the "naughty" strand, literally a few hairs, neatly cut with nail scissors.

Attach chignon at home is not difficult. So, we proceed:

• clean hair, comb and apply mousse or styling gel;
• carefully collect the tail on the top and fasten it with a rubber band;
• make a “bundle” and fix it with pins;
• sprinkle hair varnish;
• take the tail of artificial hair and fasten it to the "bundle";
• hairpins chignon immersed under the beam and tighten the thin ribbon around the base of the hair;
• “Fluff” the false hair, hiding the place of attachment, and once again spray it with varnish;
• If desired, the place of "connection" can be decorated with bright satin ribbon, original rubber band.

The tail of artificial hair can be made wavy. Screw unnatural strands work out and at home. There are several ways to curl.

1. With the help of curling. We warm up the tool to 190 degrees. We divide the tail into several strands and wind each of them on the curling iron by analogy with natural hair. Scroll for 1-2 minutes. Carefully remove every curled strand from the curling iron and let it cool.
2. In the oven. Heat the oven to 100 degrees. Take the hairpiece and curl each strand on a metal or wooden curlers. Put on a baking sheet and send to the oven for 50 minutes. Give the false hair to cool and proceed directly to the creation of hair.
