It is characteristic that only after tonics can you return the natural color. In the case of persistent dyes have to wait for the hair to fully grow. After using shampoos and balms, a natural shade will appear. An exception is the case when the composition is overexposed or used incorrectly.

What affects the stability of tint funds:
- The frequency of bath procedures. From this criterion depends directly on how long the tonic will last on the hair. The product is washed out after 5-7 baths, so those who take a bath every day will lose their strand more quickly.
- Water temperature. Hot color washes out faster, therefore, to maintain a rich color, it is recommended to take a shower in slightly cooler water. As an option - during washing the hair should be wetted to a minimum.
- Use shampoos and balms for colored hair. Thanks to the use of special tools, it is possible to increase the durability of coloring agents several times.
- Original color. Best of all, the tonic falls on blonde hair, on such curls it lasts longer. The tinted shampoo applied on bleached curls is the hardest to bring out. In contrast, on dark hair tonic will last from seven days to a couple of weeks.
- Selected shade. Bright shades are washed out faster. To preserve the saturation of pink or blue tonic, the color will have to be regularly updated: once every one or two weeks. However, if the tool had an unexpected effect (for example, if the tool was overexposed on highlighted strands and received a green or purple color), the result will last for a long time. How to quickly bring color?
Sometimes there is a need to get rid of tonic prematurely. Before painting it is recommended to check the effect of the product on a separate strand in order to understand what the final color will be. Otherwise, the result may be unpredictable.
If the girl is not satisfied with the final version, you should immediately wash your hair several times and then take bath procedures as often as possible.
In addition, special washes and home remedies are used:
- Sour-milk drinks. They are mixed with honey, vegetable oil, gently rubbed into the hair and left for an hour. The mixture is used once a day until complete disappearance of the color.
- Cosmetic clay. Kefir, orange oil or lemon juice is added to it. The solution is kept on the hair for 20-30 minutes, if necessary, the procedure is repeated 2-3 times.
- Burr oil. It is used individually or in combination with other means. The advantage of this method is that it has a healing effect on the hair.
- Soda. One of the most aggressive ways to proceed in a pinch. After the procedure, the curls are moistened with a balm or conditioner, as the soda dries the hair. Soda is mixed with salt, applied to hair for 10-15 minutes, then rinsed with vinegar.
- Cleaning products. The most extreme method, which should be resorted to with caution. The composition is applied to the strands for 5-10 minutes, then washed off. The downside is that the tool can ruin the hair. However, sometimes it can only get rid of the color you didn't like.
In the case, to bring the color at home failed, should contact the salon. Hairdresser will select a professional acid remover, taking into account the characteristics of the hair, the resulting color and durability of the used tonic. Means dries curls, so use them yourself is not recommended.
