In 1890, the Populist A.G. Stange founded the Pavlovskaya Artisanal Artel of Metalworkers, which was named the name of the A.I. Kirov already in Soviet times. In the early 70s of the 20th century, the Pavlovsky tableware factory received the Order of the Badge of Honor. Later in 1994, by the artistic and expert council of the region, the products of the plant were noted as a nationwide creative craft, after which it began to represent a significant cultural and historical heritage in the history of Russia.
Today, the Pavlovsky cutlery factory is considered the largest manufacturer of kitchen appliances in the Russian Federation and the CIS.
