Actually, it is the combination of bangs and the elongated occipital part through a smooth transition that makes sesson an original hairstyle, because any attempt to abandon this part turns the haircut into some more familiar classic version, for example, into a bob or a square.

In the most classical sense, sesson implies smooth lines, including bangs, however, modern stylists in their attempts to create something of their own and not focus on the generally accepted rules constantly make certain changes to the design of the haircut. Today, the prerequisite is already considered just the presence of some bangs, and it is not so important what kind of shape it takes.

Thanks to this, one can come across specific variants of a hairstyle with a scythe or asymmetrical, shortened or even elongated bangs, and all this is often served under the “classic” sauce. On the other hand, clients in the hands of a skilled master usually do not complain, because all these deviations from the rules are often created in order to take into account the specifics of the customer’s appearance in the smallest detail, and this is also a definite plus for originality and uniqueness.

As is often the case with complex things, the massive demand forces creators to experiment intensively with product simplification, which is why it often loses all of its original properties and can only look like the original on the outside. Something similar happened with sesson - although the principal requirement in the classics was a continuous smooth line, as if with one movement outlining the whole head, today the same term is also called hairstyles, the technique of which involves graduation.

For the master, performing this type of haircut is much easier, because there are no longer any perfectly smooth lines, and it would be necessary to stick to the approximate contours when performing any ordinary haircut.
