If you are not yet an experienced craftswoman, before you start creating things yourself from scratch, practice needlework by doing the reworking of old things. For example, try turning a well-worn T-shirt into a trendy T-shirt.

Favorite T-shirt, which is a pity to throw away, but can no longer be worn, can be converted into an original T-shirt. This can be done in several different ways, we will tell you more about each of them below. The main thing is not to be afraid to experiment, because you risk nothing: in case of failure, you just spoil the unnecessary thing, and if everything works out, you will get a new one.

In order to turn a simple T-shirt into a stylish sports-style T-shirt, we need only scissors and a few minutes of free time.

Do the following:

• Cut the sleeves along the contour of the armhole.
• Cutting off the bottom edge of a T-shirt - it should make a strip of fabric a couple of centimeters wide. Throw it away is not necessary, it will be needed for decoration.
• Next, do the side arm deep armholes. Make sure they have the same shape and size. Between armholes should remain a few centimeters of fabric - in the center of the back.
• Now we need to complement our future jersey with a triangular neckline. To do this, slightly deepen the neck and change its shape. The bottom corner of the triangle should be exactly between the side openings.
• Getting to the decor. We take a strip of fabric cut from the bottom of the T-shirt and tie one end of it to the base of the neckline (the top of the triangle). We wrap a small section of fabric between armholes with this tape. Tightly reel tape, first moving down, then up. • safety pins set;
• cutting scissors;
• needle and thread to match;
• sewing machine (optional).

• Well iron the shirt and T-shirt. Turn the T-shirt inside out, place it on a flat, solid surface and place an alcoholic on the shirt. Combine shoulder lines on both products.

So, we arm with the same set of sewing accessories as the previous master class, and proceed:

• We give our T-shirt the shape of a rectangle: we cut off the sleeves and completely cut off the upper part, capturing the neck. If necessary, deepen sleeve armholes.

• Measure the length of the shirt from shoulder to hem, multiply the resulting number by two. Cut off two strips of braid of the appropriate length, adding a few centimeters to the stock.
• Sew tape to the edges of the shirt. Then we determine the width of the armhole and mark the place where it ends with a pin. Sew together the strips of tape to the mark.

In clothing stores, you probably paid attention to the models of T-shirts with a back woven from a variety of ropes. If you like this decor, you can easily repeat it at home, because weaving a few braids from scraps of fabric is a snap.

Here is a brief tutorial on how to do this:

• Turn the T-shirt inside out and draw a straight line on the back from the neck to the middle of the back. The line should be exactly in the center. Then we deviate from this line by centimeter to the right and to the left and draw two arcs extending into the side seams.
• We make two cuts along the contours of the arcs. The central part is cut into three longitudinal strips. Side - on three transverse, then each of them for another three. Excess tissue can be removed to make the back more open.
