Meeting a white dachshund on the street is not so easy. Despite the unusual and distinctive white dachshund, this breed is rarely bred in the breeding nurseries, and the exotic white color is considered a tribal marriage. • high risk of spinal injury or back disease;

• lack of proper upbringing contributes to the development of self-will and obstinacy in the dog;
• there is a tendency to rapid weight gain and overeating;
• when rude and inappropriate, the owner of the dog may harbor a grudge and make all sorts of dirty tricks.

The rules for caring for a white-haired dachshund have no serious differences from the content of an ordinary dog. Albino needs to be combed with a special brush. With long hair, it is recommended to give preference to the comb with rarer teeth. So it will be possible to comb through the tangled wool much faster. Periodically, the dog will have to do a haircut, especially in the summer, so that the dog does not overheat from the thick fur.

Consequently, bathing with shampoo is preferably carried out no more than once a week, or only when heavily soiled wool. Pet eyes and ears must be checked for contamination every day.. If necessary, rinse thoroughly with a cotton pad moistened with warm water. At the first symptoms of conjunctivitis, dachshund's eyes are recommended to be washed with furaciline solution. Trimming claws is carried out no more than 2 times a month. With age, the nails of the animal grow more slowly, and the procedure will be carried out less frequently. As a rule, albino dachshunds self-grind claws during the walk.

The white dachshund will not take much trouble in the content and will become an excellent companion, provided that it receives the attention and love of the owner, which it needs very much. Individuals of this breed have a need for good food and regular physical activity. Albino dachshunds perfectly adapt to any lifestyle, including living in an apartment. However, the owner will often need to take the animal to the park or to a free lawn, so that the dog does not experience melancholy in the four walls.

But there are breeders who take the white color of the dachshund for an exceptional feature and increase the cost of the animal. Thus, according to some information, an albino puppy with all documents and vaccinations may cost you about 40 thousand rubles.

When deciding to start a white taxi, you must mention that with such a pet you will not have the opportunity to participate in exhibitions and championships. Also, albino taxis do not have access to breeding. An animal whose color is caused by a genetic failure may be the cause of many serious diseases in the future.

First of all, it is recommended to pay attention to the organs of vision and hearing of the puppy. Some white individuals develop blindness in childhood. Discreet breeders sometimes allow themselves to flatten two white dachshunds in order to get albino puppies, which is strictly prohibited.
