Before sewing the skirt, you must first make a belt. To make a belt five centimeters wide, you need to take a strip of fabric twelve centimeters wide, and the length will be calculated according to the formula: half waist circumference + 7 centimeters.

• The entire strip from the seamy side should be glued with a special tape.
• Applying overlock or zigzag stitch, you should sew the edges of the belt along the entire length.
• Now it is necessary to connect the product on the sides, with one centimeter going to the stock.

After this, you can proceed to tailoring a skirt of a conic cut:

• First, glue the tape on two sides of the semicircle, which shows the waistline. Its size will be the size of the lightning + 2 centimeters.
